The film is about Jann Mardenborough, a Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won him a series of video game competitions to become an actual professional race car driver. My mother kicked us out of the house for wasting our lives playing video games all the time, explaining why I (and probably most of you) are not rich, NASCAR-type pilots…although in my case, I'd have been a rich and famous mushroom/turtle-jumping plumber.

Saw this yesterday, felt that it was an ok film overall but was let down by the first half where they tried to cover a lot of different events. After the GT academy is over I felt the movie improved a fair bit.
I was surprised at how many of the events in the film were accurate to real life events! I thought the film was exaggerating Jann's life but seemingly not which I appreciated.
