I was just telling the wife last night we don’t have to worry about Russia starting a nuclear war, it will be either Palestine or Israel that starts it in their attempt to annihilate each other because their beliefs say the other doesn’t deserve to be in existence.
This culture war has been going on for a long time and should have ended a long time ago. Neither side is in the right, both are at fault for the current events.
Out here both-sidesing the genocidal apartheid state with nuclear arms and the victims of ongoing genocide fighting with guerilla tactics because they somehow represent an equivalent threat to global peace. You know, normal stuff

It is, in all sense a culture war, one culture doesn’t think the other deserves to exist. Call ethnic cleansing all you want but the technicality of it all is the same.
Definition of culture war is as follows:
a conflict between groups, especially liberal and conservative groups, that have different cultural ideals, beliefs, or philosophies.
So yea it is, one side says it has the right to be in someplace and wants to expand, the other side is saying otherwise. Do I agree with occupation of another’s territory? No
I also don’t believe “ethnic cleansing” is a suitable replacement for genocide. Ethnic cleansing is what the nazis did to the Jews during WWII. It’s just a different term for genocide.
