I didn't quite understand the summary
Is it to support Canadians living in the region (embassy etc.) or participate alongside
NATOUS / other allies?They are there in case things go sideways and we need to get Canadians out. You'd want people who are trained to make decisions quickly in a warzone and act independently in the midst of chaos.
NATO is not involved in this matter. This is an Israeli/Middle East conflict.
