Still doesn't allow background playback though, so it's useless to me
And that’s why I sideload a modified YouTube that includes ad blockers, sponsor segment skipping and background playback, among other things.
I won't pay for YouTube almost solely because Revanced is such a better experience than YT could be. They cannot bundle in Sponsor block without an outrage.
I don't disagree, but Premium does let you skip over frequently skipped sections.
Oh I didn't know that. That admittedly changes things somewhat. Google still makes enough money from me though.
