And he didn’t even announce tariffs until late in the month.
Can’t wait to see February data.
I didn't go to the US when he was president the first time, and I had already decided I wasn't going there back in November when the dumbasses re-elected him.
I doubt I am alone in that.
The tariffs and 51st state bullshit simply added many more people to the boycott.

We were the same. At the time I lived 15 minutes from the border and it wasn't unusual for us to pop down for a day trip or shopping to get the few things hard to find in Canada. That all stopped after he got elected the first time. The little town on the US side of the border suffered from it. There was a large grocery store just on the US side that had been there for 20 or more years. It closed about 6 months after. People stopped coming.
I had to go to the US for work a couple times, but we looked elsewhere for our day trips and fun outings.
This time around I've since opened a candy store and arcade. I had brought a bunch of US products into the candy store. That's all getting sold off and I'm replacing it with candy from Europe and Japan. Trying to find interesting stuff from South America because I don't usually see that. I think that will be fun to sell.
We aren't as close to the border now, but we did have a few plans to go down for business related events. All those plans have been canceled.
True, he wasn't even president until the 20th!
