Bishop at inaugural prayer service urges Trump to 'have mercy' on LGBTQ children, immigrants

Later, as Trump was walking through the White House colonnade with his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, reporters asked him what he thought of the sermon. He asked the group, “Did you like it? Find it exciting?” He then added that he “didn’t think it was a good service, no” and said they “could do much better.”

I like the implication that he's a sermon critic and judging based on delivery from his long personal expertise in listening to sermons. Did he think the sermon telling him to be merciful just didn't have the right inflection? Should it have included an anecdotal story to ground it? Maybe the sound system wasn't well tuned?

Of course then I don't like that this is the answer he gave and the media just accepts it as sufficient and ready to print.
