With the AMD 7840U:
12h06 while WiFi web browsing @ 150 nits (notebookcheck)
8h11 battery life in PCMark modern office (battery test) @ 200 nits (arstechnica)
13h55 battery life in PCMark 10 (battery test) @ 120 nits (techradar)
The battery results are rather promising it seems!
Edit: there may have been some suboptimal expansion card configuration for the arstechnica review as per the framework CEO (I believe this is his reddit account? - We don't really know if the photos are representative of their actual testbench unit. That said, I usually trust notebookcheck's reviews over others. Though this one gives me some concerns since they report a 6.5w average draw for idle, which should result in a 9.3-9.4 hour runtime with the 61w battery. Unless the battery is above spec for the test unit I guess. Otherwise, the math doesn't really match their idle draw estimate.
