I'm okay with uniting with communists on the idea that no single entity should control the platforms of civil discourse. I think only fascists, tankies, and overly-concerned neo-liberals (Patriot Act keeps us safe believers) oppose this idea.
But they did a really good job at making it, so good that we can ignore them completely and choose not to federate our instances with them.
But we already are federated with them...
