Nah, I have an account on beehaw since before LW existed, but when beehaw defederated from LW I opened an account here, so 3 weeks for me here :)
Actually I had one on lemmy.ml before too, but that was more like looking around.
Why did BeeHaw defederate?
Concerns with other instances policies for new signups, their reasoning was to avoid spam / bots.
The honest reason is that they have a safe space for LGBTQIA+ and didn't want TERFs or CIS gendered people fucking up their vibe. They did do it in a tasteful way though.
