But why is USB C directional? One phone I have won't charge if the cord is in one orientation but fast charges in the other orientation.
7 12 ReplyIt isn't. Either your cable is bad, or the port on your phone is bad/broken.

4 1 ReplyTechnically cables are part double sided (USB3 wires, grounding) and part single sided (power, USB2), while ports should be double sided.
