They exist.. I'm 5'10"' and I have dated 6' and over. It's only weird if the parties involved make it weird.

I'm 5'3 and dated a 5'10 girl for a while. She did eventually cheat on me though.
5'7" dated a 6'4" woman who eventually cheated on me. Although I blame my Morrowind addiction at the time.
Morrowind addiction is kinda worth it though.
