According to leaks, the Nintendo Switch 2 is running "like a PS5" and easily running Final Fantasy 7 Remake on a dev kit.

Speculation seems to be lower raw capability than the PS5 but built to use DLSS via their relationship with Nvidia.
You know.. I never never thought to ask this before, but... Why did they go with nvidia on the switch?
They had a long history with ATI/AMD providing graphics for their hardware before the switch. Isnt the Switch the only game console to be powered by nvidia?
Because nvidia had good experience with gaming SOC development via the shield
And mobile SoC in particular which can go into a proper low power mode
That could be why Nvidia wanted to have a partnership and made a sweet deal.
