tbh I donβt think tomboy even necessarily implies masc as much as it does sporty and casual.
I think the vtuber Subaru is a kind of good example of a femme tomboy

These are traditionally masc but I think have changed heaps over the last two decades

Yeah, that's part of what I mean by changed heaps - athleisure didn't realise exist the way it does now, even in the late 90s
