She was featured in a 1957 gynaecology textbook.

I've been playing so much violin I'm getting callouses on my finger tips, it's nice not to hurt as much (they still hurt) but they feel so weird

My guitar playing calluses are pretty tame compared to what I have seen out there with bassists especially. The calluses are your musicians mark though, hehe

I had a friend who played jazz bass, and his calluses were so thick on his playing fingers that he could pick things up straight out of an oven and feel nothing.
