Slugs are my favorite animal! I've also never seen a red one outside of pictures. Mostly either brown slugs or leopard slugs.

Yeah! It's a common name for gray/brown spotted slugs.

Oh that's why I was wondering. They're the ones indigenous to Eurasia. Where I am, we got the boring monochrome slugs.
