The comments regarding this are really disappointing. People hate Ubisoft so much, for fucking customers over, that they are glad that customers are being fucked. What is wrong with you lot? People look forward to things, they side with optimism over pessimism, but fuck them right! What a bunch of angry and frustrated arseholes a lot of you seem to be.
- Breaking News!!! Man repeatedly gets diarrhea from street vendor; "Maybe this time will be different". Street vendor says, "he just keeps buying it so I just keep making it".
- If you pay for early entry in a AAA game I feel no sympathy for that lost progress.
  
  And that is fine. But feeling no sympathy, and being happy, are different. People being happy about others misfortune was the point of my comment.
  
  Early entry happens because they buy it, these buyers are part of the problem, I'm glad they got fucked over.
- I don't understand the vitriol either. Must be a lemmy thing ( see every thread about microsoft doing something shitty and people going "you deserve it if you use windows/don't use linux" ). Even the reddit threads related to this issue aren't this bad, they're mostly friendly and helpful towards the guys that got grifted.
- People like to be elitist
