That's a disaster waiting to happen. When you encounter one, you should reupload it to archive.org.
Sony (Columbia / Screen Gems) has several legit YouTube channels and uploads old TV episodes and movies. Some of their channels are Throwback TV, Classic Rewind TV, Stream City and many others.
Best start using ytdl to download, because of course Google will bow to the movie industry
what is yddl?
YouTube(compatible with other video sites as well) downloader. It's a command line tool but highly versatile. Originally, youtube-dl used to be recommended but development nearly crawled to a halt on that.
I got a GUI version of ytdl when I bought SVP (converts movies, shows, anime from 23FPS to 60+FPS) and I LOVE IT SO MUCH
