China State Banks Restrict Financing for Russian Commodities
:reddit-logo: libs : OMG CHINA IS GOING TO INVADE TAIWAN AND EASTERN RUSSIA IN THE BIGGEST DOUBLE CROSS EVER. :brainworms:
Surprised China is doing this. Is this part of their strategy of not rocking the boat?
You can't have a peaceful international community with Putin running around doing imperialism beside a bunch of NATO countries. lol
I would not be surprised if China was surprised Russia advanced past Donetsk and Luhansk. Russia is way out of line here, like it or not. Thats the truth. I am against NATO and the expansion of nato. But this is seriously uncool. Take the two territories that want to join you and fuck off. Ukraine is/was not even remotely close to joining NATO.
It appears that Russia would be satisfied regarding the people’s republics with a deal essentially putting in place a third Minsk agreement. Lmk if something changed while I was asleep, but I haven’t heard anything about incorporating them into the RF.
Exactly, Putin recognized the LPR/DPR as independent countries. https://rubryka.com/en/2022/02/21/putin-vyznav-nezalezhnist-tak-zvanyh-dnr-i-lnr/
From the sounds of it (which I won't be trusting my eyes and ears with this situation for a while cause I was way wrong about the potential for a full scale invasion), it's likely to be a regime change type of operation which is obviously different, but has a very similar outcome from an imperialism standpoint.
what do you think he should have done in regards to ukraine shelling the 2 cities and sending people to sabotage shit there? and the blocking of water.
Take the two territories that want to join you and fuck off.
I see this as more like China forcing Russia to trade in yuan instead of the dollar as yuan-denominated lines of credit are still available.
It is sort of giving everyone what they want condemn NATO countries, and give Russia a little punishment at the same.
China bad. Oh wait...
It’s either “China bad” or “See our pressure worked! This means that China is gonna collapse soon!!!”
Where are you getting this info? I'm not seeing anything reported on CGTN, China Daily, Xinhua, GT regarding this. I tried to Baidu it and didn't find anything either.
Bloomberg. I don't see them just making it up for some reason. lol

I can see them doing it to attempt to drive a wedge between the 2 countries. Personally, I would wait for some sort of announcement or people on Chinese social media discussing this.
Stories from Bloomberg Canada about imaginary sanctions would not drive a wedge between Russia and China
No, but what is there to lose from trying?
wow. this is interesting. china already has an alternative to swift up and running.
