I'm replaying BB and this particular voice line from Djura really catches me off-guard every time. Even though Old Yharnam is a relatively early-game area, you're already being acknowledged that your player character isn't just some lowly fighter - the Hunter is someone that deserves respect and fear from a veteran hunter. It's a really stark difference than how NPCs in other FS games regard the player character as a lowly figure in some ambiguous way. In Bloodborne, you get a dude that's just calling you a killer and I'm all for it 😂

So I started the DLC old hunters, and ive went sooo fn far, (1st time playing dlc), and jumped off the ledge here and now I'm stuck. Not sure on what, but I'm fn stuck and more than likely there is a lamp right around the corner. Do I eat the L, or is there a way out of this that I don't know? Thanks. Btw, if you can't tell, I haven't hit any lamps since the beginning. So I'm still in this starting area I guess

I figured the two main runes that Garnham would have would be Guidance for his hunting skill and Moon for… you know… the big ass great one thats confined to the 9th dimension that just so happens to be called The Moon Presence

I'm on NG+3 right now, and I'm doing a "good guy" playthrough where I give everyone who deserves it a happy ending (or as happy as you CAN in a from game). I was already excited that I was gonna one phase Orphan (on my first try, too!!!) because I've never done that before, so imagine my surprise and delight when I found out that (due to what I assume MUST be an unintentional glitch) it had the secondary effect of "saving" what is, in my opinion, the most tragic boss in the game, besides maybe Gascoigne. He isn't even stuck in a static t-pose model or anything, he's genuinely idling like an NPC with slight movements and everything. I'm know it must not be a new discovery or anything, but I still thought it was pretty neat, and I thought it was also incredible that it just HAPPENED to be this particular playthrough.

Cathedral Ward. Hard left, where the two gentlemen are out for a nightly stroll on with their walking sticks (be careful, they get a little cranky). I was peeping over the gate and suddenly see some colours in the sky. Otherworldly type, blue and swirling. I'm mesmerised. And then suddenly I'm flying ! Into the air! The word Frenzy pops up on the screen (which I can only assume is short for Friendzoned since even after visiting Vicar Amelia over 10 times now and showing her all my sexy moves, she still won't let me even TOUCH her. That health bar remains the same. And to those who keep talking about consent, SHE jumped at ME. Literally.) then I died...I went straight back there again and it happened exactly the same way except this time I SWEAR there was some huge demonic hand holding me up and squeezing me!Before you start prescribing me Meds again, I did NOT imagine it. My cat saw it too but she seemed uninterested.
